Update 25.9.23 (at 1600)
All systems are now back online.
Please bear in mind that there will be significant delays in the coming days as we catch-up on the back log.
Please consider only contacting the surgery if you are feeling unwell needing same day attention, or if your query is urgent
Please rest assured we are doing everything we can to mitigate these circumstances, so that there is minimal impact on care provision.
**Urgent update 25.9.23**
Update 25.9.23
As of 0830 this morning (25.9.23) Grange Road Surgery has lost all internet and phone line connectivity again.
This appears to be due to another internet outage beyond our control.
This outage has affected all of our systems, including our phone lines and so our patients will NOT be able to call through to the surgery.
We do not know when this will be repaired but we will keep our patients updated via this website.
Although this fault is beyond our control, we continue to be open as usual.
We ask that our patients bear the current situation in mind, and that we will be running with delays.
There will be delays because of this, but we are continuing to see patients as normal.
Please consider only contacting the surgery if you are feeling unwell needing same day attention, or if your query is urgent

Important Update 14.9.23
Our internet has now been restored (0720) and our phone lines and IT systems are back up and running.
Please be aware there will be delays with medication requests and administration in the coming days as we work to clear the back log.
Urgent Update 13.9.23
As of 0830 this morning (13.9.23) Grange Road Surgery lost all internet and phone line connectivity due to a major internet outage beyond our control.
This continues to affect us and large parts of Bristol.
We do not know when this will be repaired but we will keep our patients updated via this website.
Although this fault is beyond our control, we continue to be open as usual.
We ask that our patients bear the current situation in mind, and that we will be running with delays.
This outage has affected all of our systems, including our phone lines, the ability to access some results and our electronic prescribing.
There will be delays because of this, but we are continuing to see patients as normal.

Prescription Delays
We are very sorry to hear that patients are experiencing delays with their prescription.
Unfortunately this is out of our control because local pharmacies are extremely busy and there are regional stock issues with the availability of medications.
Please do not contact reception to make enquiries about this, as we are unable to influence this.
This also keeps our phone lines free for clinical queries.
Due to these pressures, local pharmacies will be able to dispense your medication six working days after you have reuqested your medication from us.
If collecting a paper prescription from the surgery, please allow three working days from date of request.
Many thanks for your consideration.
